I’m making the journey back home to Ireland to hold a Q&A conference at Knocklyon Community Centre in Dublin on February 15th from 2pm to 3pm. Students with interest in studying medicine, dentistry or pharmacy are encouraged to attend. Parents are, of coures, very welcome too!
I’ll be shedding light on my experiences so far as a medical student at Medical University Varna and how I can assist you with your application. I’ll also be sharing information on opportunities that graduates of Bulgarian medical universities have access to in terms of job applications in Ireland and other countries around the EU. Since I am quite close to graduation myself, I’ll also be sharing what my plans are for seeking employment and how I’ll be going about this.
At Irish Doctors Bulgaria we have been very successfully assisting Irish students with their applications to Medical University Varna since 2022. Every year the number of students applying through our company has been increasing and we expect around 20 students to be applying through us in 2026. Up until now we have been getting places for medcine & dentistry students but from 2026 pharmacy is available in English for the first time at the university. We hope that many Irish students will be interested.

Born and raised in Ireland, Neil moved to South Korea for 11 years where he worked as a musician, music teacher, and Korean-speaking reality TV star. After convincing a Korean girl to marry him, he then somehow convinced her to move to Bulgaria with him where he is now a 41 year-old, 5th year medical student.
